McCrae Training delivers Modern Apprenticeships throughout the United Kingdom covering Water, Design, Waste-Water Networks, Leakage and Controlling Operations.

As an approved Training Provider with Skills Development Scotland (SDS) and CABWI, we offer Modern Apprenticeships for your current and new staff, covering all age categories.

Modern Apprenticeships feature a range of benefits, for example, staff learn on the job, they gain required practical knowledge and experience whilst being trained, and they are assessed and developed by our team of Trainers and assessors.

Funding for our Modern Apprenticeships in managed and distributed by SDS and CITB. They oversee the entire process of funding allocation, ensuring that eligible candidates and companies receive the financial support they need to embark on an apprenticeship.

What Does The Candidate Learn?

A Modern Apprenticeship is a training and assessment programme. The process builds up candidates' knowledge and competence while learning on the job.

How Long Will A Modern Apprenticeship Last?

There is no set duration for a Modern Apprenticeship. They typically last between 12 - 18 months.

What Accreditation Will A Modern Apprenticeship Receive?

Once successfully completed, the candidate will receive an Qualifications Scotland Certificate, MA Certificate, and potentially an EUSR Card if appropriate to the subject.

What Does An Apprenticeship Involve?

During their Apprenticeship, the candidates will build up their knowledge while completing hands-on training and experience. The Apprentice will complete a variety of things during their time including an in-depth induction, frequent in-person reviews, portfolio builds and site visits. This is all completed to ensure the candidate is fully competent.
