Course Aims

This re-assessment course provides candidates who currently hold operative and/or supervisor Street Works qualifications. This will allow candidates to prove their ability to operate or supervise on a road/highway successfully while complying with necessary regulations.

This SQA-accredited Street Works re-assessment programme follows a theory-based approach where candidates attend a training session for each Street Works unit they hold, and then complete an invigilated assessment for all units they are currently registered for.

Who Should Attend?

This course should be undertaken by candidates who hold existing valid SWQR registrations and certifications for both operative and supervisor units.

**Candidates can renew their qualifications by reassessment any time up to 5 years after the expiry date shown on their street works card. If more than 5 years have passed since the expiry date, candidates must undergo a full assessment of their qualifications and will not be eligible for re-assessment. Please note that candidates can not operate on the roadway or highway if their SWQR Street Works card has expired.**
