Regardless of where you work or what you do, you have the right to return home unharmed. However, many workers are denied this right. High Performance Consultancy reported that in 2024, 1.7 million working people suffered from a work-related illness, and that 138 workers were killed in work-related incidents – an increase of three people from 2023.

What is IOSH?
The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) supports their members to make the world of work safer and healthier. They develop and connect their members with the resources, guidance, events, and training they need to achieve this.
They are recognised as an awarding organisation in England by the office of the Qualifications and Examinations Regulator. They support the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to support their vision of a safe and healthy workplace being recognised as a fundamental principle and right at work.
IOSH collaborates with over 50,000 members globally, as well as dedicated volunteers, experienced training partners, and the academics who support their research and help them to set national and international standards for a safe and healthy world of work.
